Terms of Use

These terms apply to xaviesteve.com, the online tools published on it, and my mobile apps (the “Services”). By using them you accept these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

Using the Services

Use the Services lawfully and respectfully. Do not attempt to disrupt, overload, scrape at scale, reverse engineer or gain unauthorised access to them.
Free tools are funded by me personally. Do not use automated requests that put unreasonable load on them. Heavy users: please get in touch first.
I may limit, block or discontinue any tool, app or feature at any time, with or without notice.
Some tools and apps have their own terms or privacy notices. Where they conflict with these, those take precedence for that tool or app.

Comments and user content

You are responsible for what you write or upload. I am not responsible for comments or information submitted by other users, or for external sites linked from here. I may edit, remove or refuse content that I consider false, illegal, abusive, spam, off-topic or disruptive. By posting a comment you grant me permission to display it on the site.

Intellectual property

Unless stated otherwise, content, code, images and tools are owned by Xavi Esteve. Blog articles and images authored by me are licensed under Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike-NonCommercial. Portfolio work belongs to me or to the respective clients. App and tool source code is licensed as stated in its own page or repository. See the legal notice for details and credits. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Services and all information on them are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. I review content when I publish it but cannot guarantee that it remains accurate, complete, secure or up to date. Nothing here is legal, medical, financial or professional advice unless explicitly agreed in a signed contract.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, I am not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Services, including data loss. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including for consumers under mandatory consumer protection rules. Opinions expressed are my own and not those of my employer.

Third-party links, ads and affiliates

The Services contain links to third-party sites, advertisements, and occasionally affiliate links from which I may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. I do not control and am not responsible for third-party sites or products. See the Privacy Policy for how advertising works.

Apps

My apps are licensed to you for personal use, not sold. Downloading from Google Play or the App Store is also subject to the terms of those stores. Do not copy, resell, or redistribute them.

Changes and governing law

I may update these terms; continued use after changes means you accept them. These terms are governed by Spanish law. Mandatory consumer rights in your country of residence are not affected.
