Our client, an important international company, is hiring an IT Support profile to maintain our network of servers and desktop systems as well as providing 1st level and 2nd level support for the employees. This person will take care of 1st and 2nd level support for local users; support on hardware issues; support for the global IT team on backend systems in Barcelona; responsibility for surveillance of internal security policies; independent working off tickets of the global IT ticket system; management of VM`s for software (DevOps) in the VMWare environment. We are thinking on a candidate with education in Information Technology science (or comparable experience); strong interpersonal, communicational, organizational time management and technical skills including a high understanding of customer service; more than 2 years working experience and in-depth knowledge of hardware and software as well as and network technology; good knowledge in Microsoft operating systems and servers; good skills in Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and basic skills in UNIX; experience with Office Suite 2016 (installation, configuration and maintenance); very good communication skills (verbal & writing) in English language; teamplayer, capacity, structured workflow and high flexibility, ability to work independent if necessary.
