The Training Administrator is responsible for creating & maintaining training plans and training materials for all process updates, as well as training execution. Monitors training success and identifies knowledge gaps when retraining is required.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Conducts quarterly training and development needs assessment, monitors adherence to KPIs and SOPs- Proposes training and development programs and objectives- Develops and monitors training spending against budget- Plans, organizes, facilitates training sessions - Creates and distributes communications such as newsletters to ensure associates are informed of training and development events- Conducts on-going sales trainings on tools, processes, and new product introductions- Conducts follow-up studies of all completed trainings to evaluate and measure results- New hire on-boarding - Manage training documentation repository- Coordinate soft-skills/professional skills trainings with Learning & Development Team
EDUCATION
BA degree (business and marketing degrees preferred) or 5 years equivalent experience
EXPERIENCE
- 3-4 years' experience as a training specialist- Experience in sales or sales support role preferred- Exceptional verbal, reading, and communication skills- Team player with strong interpersonal skills- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively- Familiarity with typical sales cycle tools like Salesforce and linked applications, CPQ (Configure-Pricing-Quote) solutions- Professional certification in learning & development is a plus (e.g. Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP), SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP)- Experience coordinating delivery of action items with geographically distributed parties- Ability to plan and conduct training with remote stakeholders via online tools across different time zones- Familiarity with professional services and managed services business models- Familiarity with cloud services GTM strategy- Exceptional communication skills, well-developed critical thinking and decision-making skills required
