Our client, a leading R&D and development of European Research Projects company, is seeking for a confident Java developer with imagination and creative flair to promote new growth of their capabilities and their IT team in their offices in Cornellà de Llobregat (Barcelona). They have offices in Barcelona, Brussels, Lisbon, Budapest...and have been leading the market for the last 16 years. Our client has several areas of expertise: Artificial Intelligence solutions, R+D+I, Web/Mobile applications, Machine Learning, Computer Vision... The key responsibilities of your role will include: · Participate as a member of the software development team · Develop and maintain innovative software applications using cutting-edge technology · Whole Development cycle of Java applications to meet specifications and designs and using best practices ·Review and contribute to development process and procedures to assist in the continual improvement of the development team activities. Our ideal candidate shall have: · Degree education in a Computer Science discipline · Experience working as a Java and/or Javascript Developer for at least 3 years · Required knowledge: Java, Spring, mongoDB (or other noSQL), MySQL (or other SQL), REST development, JavaScript, HTML5 · Desired knowledge: Amazon web services, Ext.Js, InfluxDB · Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities; creative thinking, personal initiative and strong communication skills. · Capacity to work both independently and within an international team · Interest for Artificial Intelligence will be a plus We offer: · A unique experience working in an international, dynamic and growing group in science, technology and industry. · Flexible working hours and a competitive salary with other benefits (medical insurance, meal vouchers, English lessons...) · On the job training and participation in workshops to achieve the tasks above If you are interested, please send us your CV!
