PHP/MySQL Developer

Bookassist®, the Direct Booking Expert™, partners with hotels to build their brand online, drive direct business to their branded website and capture bookings with world class booking technology helping them optimise their online distribution and grow their margin per booking.

Headquartered in Dublin we have additional overseas offices in Madrid, Rome, Vienna and Prague. We work with over 2000 hotels across Europe and are in a strong phase of growth.

We are looking for a talented web developer capable of designing web page mock ups and graphic material to an exceptionally high standard.

The successful candidate will be based in Madrid and will work alongside our Web Design team reporting to the WD Project Leader.

Bookassist® Web Design provides highly-customised and responsive web design for hotels, with easy navigation, fast download, SEO optimized, focused on conversion and with simple content-management-system control.

Responsibilities

Build efficient, testable and reusable PHP solutions.Assist with the management and maintenance of core IT systems, servers, networks and IT security etc.Responsible for the full case testing and deployment of new developments working with existing integrations as well as implementing new integrations.Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges.Own success - Take responsibility for successful delivery of all solutions.Assist in defining software architectures - Collaborate with technical leads to explore existing systems, determine areas of complexity, potential risks to successful implementation, learn the applications capabilities, etcWork with the Development Team to design, develop and execute software solutions that address business issues and potential risks.Complete and submit time, status reports in accordance with the deadlines.

Requirements
