Responsibilities:

We are currently seeking a motivated and career oriented Mobile App Developer to join our team in Palma de Mallorca to begin an exciting and challenging career with abcMallorca.

In this role you will provide:

• Software engineering experience building mobile applications using multi-device development frameworks such as Cordova and with native iOS and Android platforms.
• Experience building rich Internet applications on a .NET or PHP technology stack.
• Candidate must be able to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple assignments independently.
• Primary responsibilities will be testing and building responsive mobile apps based on javascript frameworks, and restful web services to meet our requirements and goals.
• Excellent written and oral English communications skills are essential for this role.

Position Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of related work experience

Required Skills:

• Native OS (iOS/Android) or hybrid mobile application development experience.
• Solid understanding of iOS or Android system architecture.
• .NET or PHP and object oriented programming experience.
• Dynamic web application development experience using Node.js, JQuery, JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS, MySQL, SQL server, Bootstrap, GULP and GIT
• Some experience working in an Agile team environment using scrum methodology.
• Experience writing unit tests for development code.
• Ability to work with external teams to resolve testing issues and bug fixes.

Desired Skills:

• Experience building REST and SOAP web services.
• Experience with following technologies; Iphone, Android, Ipad, Tablet, MySQL, Rest, Phonegap, SOAP, Weblogic, Apache, Agile, Web 2.0. Jquery Mobile, GIT, JavaScript, JQuery, SQL 2008/2012, mySQL, SASS, ES7
• Ability to write SQL and familiarity with Object Relational Mapping tools (ORM).
