2D Animator

We are looking for a 2D Animator who delivers control and movement to characters, creatures, objects, scenery and environment displayed in game software, progressive links and other gaming products.All applicants must include a DEMO REEL to be considered.

Responsibilities • Extensive knowledge of 2D animation graphics in After Effects.• Working knowledge of particle systems, Trapcode and Video Copilot plugins from After Effects.• Create high-caliber art, maintaining excellent art quality the graphics, colour theory, layout, text treatment, and animation ability.• Animate and highlight graphics made by other artists of the department.• Collaborates with programmers and artists to balance seamless movements and optimized performance on the target platform.• Show efficiency in self-managing time with a reasonable degree of accountability and minimal instruction.• Demonstrate excellent file structure and organization.

Experience• 3-5 years’ experience in 2D animations.• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the gaming industry required.• Extensive experience with animation tools and techniques required. DEMO REEL necessary.• Art and animation degree and/or vocational certification in video graphics or equivalent preferred.• Premiere and Software 3D knowledge are a plus.• Illustration, Graphic Design and composition ability are a plus.• Must be able to work onsite in our Barcelona, SP office.
