Visual UX/UI Designer

IMPORTANT: MUST CURRENTLY HAVE PERMISSION TO WORK AND RESIDE IN THE EU

Zinc is currently looking for a Visual UX/UI Designer to support our digital team. We are looking for a SUPER TALENTED designer that can help design solutions with high visual impact.

We are looking for a PASSIONATE and EXCITED person who can make a positive contribution to our team! Someone with strong visual design skills, with a keen eye for all those small details that make a big difference and ready to take advantage of an incredible learning opportunity. We do a lot of work for female audiences so would be a great advantage to have empathy and understanding of female tastes and preferences.

This position would ideally suit someone that wishes to grow as a visual designer in a happy, dynamic and emerging company that is working on a broad range of fascinating projects with international clients.

This position will start as temporary role but will move to a permanent position depending on work quality, experience, skills and fit in Zinc.

Salary dependent on experience.

Main responsibilities:

- Work with project managers to help define design requirements- Produce visual mockups and screen designs as required- Help design user interfaces that are easy to use and a pleasure to touch- Work in close collaboration with other designers and UX team- Help create design guidelines for development teams to implement- Work closely with the development team to manage design process and quality assurance- Be up to date with latest visual trends and technologies

Main requirements:

- At least 1-2 years of relevant design working experience- Good visual design, colour, typography, UI design skills- Minimum of experience designing apps, websites and brand identity- Passion for interaction and user-centric design- Up to date with current responsive design standards- Good understanding of Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator and other industry standard design tools- Degree in multimedia design, digital design, visual design or similar- Aim to deliver high quality of work- Fluent in English and Spanish- Must be legally entitled to work in the EU and if necessary, ready to relocate to Barcelona- Team player- Positive Attitude, autonomous and ready to learn!!
