UX/UI Senior Visual Designer

We are looking for a strategic thinker and interaction specialist to join our team in Madrid for a 6-8 months project (part-time dedication). This Senior Designer position, with a high level of autonomy while managing the interaction design process, requires a unique combination of proven talent and ability in interface design, visual design and basic coding.

1. Main Responsibilities:

– Uncover user needs through research, develop deep insights, generate concepts, and craft how people will interact with the products and services we design.

– Participate in and occasionally lead Service & Interaction Design activities, including client workshops, user interviews, and creative brainstorms.

– Explain and discuss design decisions eloquently and give design feedback.

– Manage Service & Interaction Design activities at the project level.

– Own Service & Interaction Design deliverables.

– Contribute to the communication of research findings, conceptual ideas, detailed design, and design rationale.

2. Must Have:

– 7+ years of in-depth knowledge and experience of Interaction Design and Service Design across varied users, business problems, and devices.

– User interface or visual design experience with a basic knowledge of HTML, CSS table-less design and JavaScript.

– Strong conceptual thinking with an ability to understand customer needs, motivations and behaviors and translate them into actionable deliverables.

– Strong knowledge of user interface design processes and methodology, particularly as applied to web-based applications.

– Experience with Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, and InVision is required.

– Understanding of several areas of specialization within the greater design landscape, including but not limited to Design Research, Visual Design, and Content Design.

– Ability to create experience maps, user journeys and service blueprints, interaction models, flows, and wireframes.

– Familiarity with rapid prototyping methods, ranging from paper sketching to digital prototypes.

– Results-oriented, patient and able to work under stress.

– Fluent in Spanish and English.

– Madrid based (Spain), with availability to travel abroad (mainly to Switzerland).
