Social Impact Lead

PlayGround’s mission is to invite people into a new awareness and to empower them with the tools to build a more ethical, creative and participatory world. Based out of Barcelona, with hubs in Madrid and Miami. Over the past few years we have grown from a local channel to a global player with over 16 million followers, generating more than 1 billion video views per month. We are now the #1 channel on Facebook in the Spanish speaking world and in the top 20 worldwide. And we’re just getting started.

PlayGround DO is our department dedicated grow PlayGround’s social impact. We are building possibilities for our audience to feel and be part of real change. We are rethinking social movements, integrating a humanistic approach, digital tools and entrepreneurial point of view in one framework. We want to serve as a lever for all those who want to improve the environment in which they live. To do this we are looking for a brave and inspirational person, with a strong sense of justice and drive to be in service. The Social Impact Lead’s task is to engage and excite our audience by giving experiences and opportunities that transform their and other’s lives.

ResponsibilitiesSupport PlayGround DO’s director in developing DO’s social impact strategy.Designing social impact projects and campaigns.Leading and managing the projects and campaigns.Lead the evaluation process for all projects and campaigns.

Preferred Qualifications Training and specific experience in project design.Familiar with methodologies like agile, rapid prototyping, lean startup and design thinking.Knowledge of planning tools (logical framework) and project cycle.Experience in the development of social impact projects and campaigns.Experience working in alliances.Negotiation skills.Complementary training and / or experience in social movements, social entrepreneurship, social impact, public policies, international relations.
