Backend Developer Ruby on Rails

We are looking for a backend senior developer with experience in managing large data repositories.

We are a technology company with a focus on online applications. We use Ruby on Rails and follow an agile development approach using methodologies such as TDD, Scrum, CI Testing. Always trying to apply the best practices.

Mandatory requirements:

• Back-end

  : significant experience with Ruby on Rails and knowledge of what its strengths and weaknesses are.

• Databases

  : solid understanding of SQL and have good working knowledge of at least one of the mainline databases (MySql, PostgreSQL) and more unconventional databases (Cassandra, Redis, MongoDB)

• Infrastructure

  : Experience with virtualization and cloud deployment using AWS.

• General

  : experience using Git and the command line. Knowledge in Client-server, MVC, REST and micro-service architectures.

Interesting knowledge (any these would be a plus):

• Deployments with Docker.
• Some knowledge on scripting languages as Javascript and Python.
• ETL processes.
• Experience with search engines such as Elasticsearch.
