Responsible for the implementation of a solution or parts of a solution to meet the stated specifications and architecture. Works with the project team to identify, gather, prioritize and incorporate business requirements into the solution. Establishes acceptance criteria and quality goals Performs software design, programming, testing, support and documentation of their software to the agreed standards and quality guidelines Validates software design and solution to the project requirements. Conducts unit tests, tracking problems, and implementing changes to ensure adherence to test plan and functional requirements Responsible for diagnosing, isolating, and implementing remedies for system failures caused by errors in software code, using knowledge of system characteristics and using software based system maintenance and tracking tools. Responsibilities include efficient troubleshooting of system setups to quickly identify root cause, determine best possible solution, and ultimately resolve installation/configuration related issues. Bachelor´s Degree in a related field 3+ years of related experience Fluent in English and Spanish Ability to read and understand existing source code Strong knowledge of C/C++ Good knowledge of Java and/or C#.Net Basic knowledge of relational databases (Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, etc¡) Knowledge of related technologies such as COM/COM+, XML/XSLT, SOAP, TCP/IP, IT infrastructure and client-server applications. Experience working with Microsoft operating systems Good knowledge of Linux operating systems Experience working with any source control package Knowledge of software deployment tools Experience working with Microsoft Visual Studio development tools Object oriented, event-based programming understanding and knowledge Preferably experience on POS and Self-checkout systemsProfessional development in an international environment.
