DaoPay is a licensed financial service provider operating since 2001, and we are looking for a web developer/designer to help redesign our current website, daopay.com. It will be focused mainly on providing a more streamlined and modern look, with the technical basis and components like servers, database, text remaining unchanged. While we have an idea of which direction we want the design to go into, we are more than open to new ideas and willing to adapt.
For reference, our name Dao comes from the Chinese philosophy of Daoism. This has many different meanings and correlates with the yin & yang and being in harmony or balance. Dao also signifies “the way” or “the path”. Also comes from one of our slogans “DaoPay – the way to pay”.
Ideally, we would like to work with someone who handles both, web development & design, to create a new eye-catching and modern website. It should be cohesive with our brand and product:- Financial Services: needs to show security & trust & longevity/expertise on theMarket- Market Presence: Services in over 120+ countries/ 100 methods- Predominantly B2B: businesses that are looking to process payments, looking formore information about co-operation, or to register a merchant account online- 20% B2C: For end users that have paid with DaoPay and experiencing any issues, they are contacting support via Contact Form or Reading the FAQ’s for troubleshooting. Needs to be a clear distinction between the B2B and B2C user areas- Staying Updated: Our website also serves as an “up-to-date” platform on events we’ve attended & future ones to come
As the financial industry can be more stringent and coming off as impersonable, we try to bethose on the market that businesses can reach and have a real person interaction.
The website will mostly consist of the pages you see now on there, with an addition of 1- 2 new pages. The website will be in 4 different languages, EN, ES, DE and FR.
What's required of you as a designer/developer:
1. Expertise in WordPress2. Work closely with our internal marketing and development team3. Bring new ideas to the table4. Work on a deadline
