About the InnoEnergy CommUnity
The InnoEnergy CommUnity aims at achieving a sustainable energy future empowering its membersworldwide. CommUnity is an online and offline network creating meaningful connection among innovators,entrepreneurs and anyone who believes in the energy transition. A way of empowering the CommUnitymembers is by means of a volunteering program. The volunteering program opens a space for members to practice leadership, to acquire skills and to develop a professional network.
Offline, the volunteers create local events in cities, which makes them develop personally andprofessionally. However, they need guidance and the platform we are launching now, should help them.
The task
Your task is to design the section of the volunteering program on our new platform. The objective of thispart of the platform is 1. to attract new volunteers and 2. to be explanatory and helpful for existingvolunteers. The way of presenting should be young and innovative like our members, while maintaining theseriousness of our vision and the visual guidelines of the brand.
Dividing your task into parts, it includes the creation of one of the main and most important sections of the platform, including an introduction page, a clearly structured concept of showing the positions within the volunteering program by means of a timeline, a visual depiction combined with written explanations of the composition of the volunteering program, a section which is structured like an instructive Handbook with different chapters, subchapters and passages, which will serve as Event creation guideline (about 20individual pages, with explanatory text) and the design of templates which can be filled in by the volunteers.
Requirements, skills and values
- Very good knowledge of HTML and CSS- Experience in working with CMS tools- Information architecture and interface design- 2-3 years of experience in Web Design- Based in Barcelona (Two or three meetings at the InnoEnergy Office, face to face)
Preferable:
- UX knowledge- Fluent English
