Water Engineer Intern - Prácticas

We are looking for interns for a company with big plans to improve the world. By 2020 we will reduce plastic waste by 1 billion plastic bottles.

Tapp Water develops and sells tap water filters that save money, offer convenience and have a big positive impact on the environment. We've already successfully launched the first generation TAPP 1 and 2nd generation is coming soon. But we most continue improve the technology and need your help.

Description: You will be part of the product team perfecting the technology:• Develop and test new water filtration technologies• Work with independent water testing labs to ensure that we live up to our strict standards• Collaborate with universities and other research centers

Requirements: We're looking for people that are creative and love engineering, innovation and technology. As with any start-up we all do a bit of everything and we learn along the way but you need to know the basic which means: • Chemistry or biology degree with some experience of filtration technology• Basic knowledge of chemical substances, minerals and bacteria• Experience of using measuring tools for chlorine, calcium, bacteria, lead, etc. • Ability to quickly learn about new technologies • Culture fit: fast paced, good communicator, problem solver, self-starter, analytical • Advanced English

Note that this is a starting role requiring less than 2 years experience. If you have more experience then we are open to other kinds of collaboration.

The filters remove about 99% of bacterial contaminants and gradients from tap water, providing fresh, clean and pure water. They also provide better tasting and better smelling water. The company based in Barcelona, Spain was started September 2015 and launched the first product in June 2016.
