Visual Designer Junior

Zinc is a Design & Innovation Lab that partners with both major brands and startups around the world to frame innovation opportunities and design both physical and digital experiences that solve problems, delight people and create value. We take a holistic human approach to design & innovation and we combine that with our curiosity for technology, often working in emerging spaces like Wearable tech, IoT, Robotics, Blockchain, Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality and more.

We are now looking for a Visual Designer Junior to join our team.

Main responsibilities and requirements are:

Responsibilities• Work with project managers to help define design requirements• Produce visual mockups and screen designs as required• Design user interfaces that are easy to use and a pleasure to touch• Work in close collaboration with other designers and UX team• Create design guidelines for development teams to implement • Work closely with development teams to manage design process and quality assurance• Be up to date with latest visual trends and technologies

Requirements• At least 1 year experience designing digital products (websites, mobile apps, email, online campaigns)• Passion for user-centric design that meets business objectives.• Understanding and passion for interaction design• Up to date with current responsive design standards• Comfortable working in a fast-paced team environment with multiple ongoing projects• Comprehensive proficiency in CS Photoshop, Illustrator and other industry standard design tools.

Nice to have• Base knowledge of UX, wireframing and prototyping• Digital Branding• Base knowledge of coding (HTML, CSS, JS)• Motion graphics and animation skills
