User Applications Engineer (M/F)

The position will be mainly supporting the specification, development and validation of user-oriented applications to offer innovative ways of presenting user-related information, including but not limited applications for smartphones/tablets, EGNOS demonstrators and web-based and advanced visualizations / applications. In addition, the position will be supporting the User Support team in the EGNOS User Support website development activities in relation to user display/visualization and in any other required development or administration activity.

The User Applications Engineer’s main responsibilities:

► To support the specification, development, validation and maintenance of user-oriented applications to offer innovative ways of presenting user-related information, potentially including but not limited: - APPs for smartphones and tablets to support the user promotion and dissemination activities related to EGNOS. Including publication in Markets. - EGNOS demonstrators to be used in the frame of the EGNOS promotion activities. - Advance visualization (GIS/Mapping, 3D…) of existing information in web/mobile environments. - Web-based and advanced applications / visualizations.

► To support the EGNOS User Support website development activities in relation to display/visualization of user related information. ► To support other development / administration activities required for the different tools used within the User Support team, as examples: - Helpdesk Ticketing Tool - Contacts database tool

- Experience in hybrid APP development, (Android and IOS based as a minimum and Windows Phone desirable)- Experience in web development and server administration- Web responsive design- Graphic interface design- Experience in tools specification- Experience in the following technologies / COTS / programming languages: o DRUPAL 7, administration and development o PHP o Apache 2.x, o HTML5 , CSS3, Javascript (Chart.js, jQuery,... ) o Angular 1.x (Ionic, Cordova, Phonegap) o REST API o GIT o Bootstrap o Linux, Shell Script o Web Security o mySQL o MS Office- Knowledge about GNSS and experience in GNSS-based applications desirable

Job features:Minimum 2 years of experience in computer science and website and APP development.Engineering Master Degree or equivalent. Temporary contract (one year).
