UI Designer/Developer

Glamping Hub is the world’s leading curated online booking platform dedicated to unique accommodations in nature. The team is made up of a dynamic and enthusiastic group of professionals from different backgrounds and nationalities, all of whom are working hard to bring success to this innovative start-up.

We are looking for a Front-end UI Developer who is experienced in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, to join us. The candidate is expected to have a good track record as a developer and have previous experience in designing software products and features, prototyping during a project’s design cycle, and building production-ready capabilities.

We expect the candidate to possess innovative thinking and creativity in design while achieving the expected results. The candidate will then translate those insights into delightful interactions and experiences and communicate with the aid of wireframes and mockups.

This opportunity is located in our Seville office. Remote work is not an option.

Responsibilities

- Produce code, controls, scripts, and configurations necessary to fulfill the design requirements using HTML and have a good understanding of CSS and JavaScript for rapid prototyping.- Use prototyping and proof of concept as part of the development cycle to address functional requirements.- Apply required tools and practices to ensure that coding technique and industry standards are met.- Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate site function and feel.- Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows, and Sitemaps.- Identify and troubleshoot UI problems (e.g. responsiveness).- Continuously innovate and share technical ideas and concepts with the team.- Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with the conversion team.- Work effectively with cross-functional team members on large-scale design efforts.- Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors, and images.

Skills/ Qualifications

- High level of English.- Have skills in HTML and a good understanding of CSS and JavaScript for rapid prototyping.- Bootstrap v.3 v.4 or similar frameworks- Passion for building simple and easy-to-use mobile & web designs.- Portfolio showcasing a solid understanding of good user interfaces principles.- Strong visual design skills, including an eye for composition, good typography, and use of color.- Familiarity with mobile and web design patterns and best practices.- Visual design skills and knowledge of Illustrator, or similar visual design and prototyping tools.- Have a customer-centric and service-oriented mindset.- Team player with strong interpersonal collaboration and communication skills.- Enthusiastic and self-motivated, with the ability to make things happen. Desirable

- Experience working with Python and Django.- Experience optimizing web performance.- Experience with Adobe Photoshop.- Up-to-date with the latest UX and UI trends, techniques, and technologies.- Experience with Google Optimize or UX testing.
