With the launch of our Global Cloud Marketplace, Ingram Micro Cloud is changing how business is done in the Cloud. We have built out Global Data Centers and are working with leading Cloud Vendors to integrate their Cloud products\solutions into our Global Marketplace.
Our teams are growing and a Systems Administrator is required to manage our Corporate IT environment. This includes working on IT infrastructure projects and providing technical support to end users in our Toronto office as well as globally.
Experience
Must have 3 to 5 years, experience with Windows System Administration, to include user account administration, installation and configuration of workstations and peripherals, client-server support, software and hardware upgrades, troubleshooting, and shell script programming.Must have 3-5 years’ hands-on experience with Windows servers, Active Directory and AD infrastructure - managing, configuring and troubleshooting in an enterprise multi-domain environment.Experience to perform periodic system back-ups and developing/documenting standard operating procedures for these activities.Experience working with computer hardware, software, and local area networksExperience working with Windows 7, Windows 8, 10Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2012, SCCM, SCOMExperience with Exchange 2013, Office 365, ADFSExperience working on Hypervisor, deploying virtual machines and managing them.Knowledge of Domains, gateways, routers, switches.
Responsibilities:
Implement, installs, configure monitors, troubleshoots, and evaluates existing and new server operating systems.Diagnose hardware, network and software problems, and replace defective components to maintain proper functioning.Experience in buildout for new infrastructure and migrations.Experience with automation of repetitive administration tasks. Maintains optimal system performance by performing system monitoring and analysis, and performance tuning; troubleshooting system hardware, software, and operating and system management systems; escalating application problems to vendor.Responsible for tests and implements effective backup and restore techniques.Installing and maintaining software updates periodically.Stay current on any related technologies and performs other duties as assigned.Support internal staff on their regular IT activities like Email, IP phone, Laptop and Printers.Functional understanding of Cloud technologies like AZURE.Knowledge of the IT service management process a plus.
