Knowledge of current trends in Java / awareness of popular open source projects Strong knowledge of Patterns and Good Practices to design and develop quality and clean code. Wide experience and deep knowledge of Spring framework (AOP, Batch, Data...). Experience with Java build tools (Maven) as well version control systems (GIT, SVN, etc.) Experience with web application servers (JBoss, Tomcat, Jetty, GlassFish etc.) Familiarity with any relational database development Experience using NoSQL repositories (MongoDB, Redis, Couchbase...). Understanding of Agile software development principles
