Senior Visual Designer

Hi!, we’re The Light Room, The art & creative team for Spotahome.

Spotahome is one of the European startups with the largest international coverage. With a team of over 200 people located in Madrid, we are currently operational in 19 cities within 9 countries. Our goal is to keep growing and improving.

Our department is in charge of providing the whole company with any visual or creative need they might have, and to continue to do so we are on the look out for a designer to join our team!

It has to be passionate, in love with the visual world and capable of combining shapes and contents together. It has to be dynamic, fast & and all round designer, with the ability to work on both online and offline environments.Must have social skills to communicate with the many different departments within the company and be capable of transmitting ideas and arguments in a clear fashion. Must be open to debate, give/receive feedback, and propose new ideas.

Your task will be to help your other teammates with these responsibilities, guard the brand by making sure its rules and values are respected, and create all the materials needed accordingly.

Requirements:-Experienced in the creation of online graphic assets (from scratch to their fulfillment on their respective media).-Experienced in the creation of offline graphic assets (from scratch to their fulfillment on their respective media).-Previous studies in communication, design or marketing.-Understand the design function within the company.-Know how to generate ideas that follow and respect the brand values and also transmit them accordingly.-Know how to create assets with agility and speed.-We’ll also consider experience in Illustrating, iconography and visual data.

Personal Skills:-Committed and used to work as a team. Willing to learn and share the knowledge.-Pro-active, autonomous and care for small details.-In love with the profession.-Fluent in English (mid-high level).-Other languages will be taken in to consideration (German, French or Italian).

Software proficiency:-Adobe Photoshop(Advanced).-Adobe Illustrator(Advanced).- Sketch (is a plus).- Adobe Premiere (is a plus).- Adobe AfterEffects (is a plus).
