The Brand Communications team is part of the User Experience (UX) team, of which, is one of the largest in Spain, with a multi-disciplined team of 40 visual designers, UX designers, UX researchers, UX data analysts, and video producers. We recently moved to a newly refurbished office that’s centrally located in beautiful Barcelona. We have a UX lab that supports our ability to apply a customer focused and data-oriented approach to our overall process. We’re a fun-loving UX team who’s passionate about many things, including learning, sharing knowledge, innovation, and best-in-class user experiences.

We’re looking for a highly motivated and curious Visual Designer with a passion for brand and creative problem solving. You’ll help evolve the brand and create attractive and engaging visual design solutions to reach customers across web, mobile, and print, in more than 43 countries. You’ll work closely with the Brand Communications manager, while collaborating with other visual designers, various stakeholders and UX Design and Research peers.

Key Responsibilities:

Create effective visual design solutions to support marketing and merchandising campaigns, newsletters, banner ads, social media and more, across offline, online and mobile marketing channels;Create on-brand design solutions that meet measurable business goals and requirements;Manage multiple requests from various internal teams on projects of varying length and complexity;Contribute to the evolution of our brand guidelines with fresh design approaches that reflect emerging trends in visual design;Provide guidance, design specifications and templates for accurate implementation of your designs:Stay connected to the larger UX team by sharing and applying knowledge;Support the evolution of visual design production processes;Identify opportunities to improve the quality and consistency of both you and your peers’ visual design output.Required skills and experience:

2-4 years of experience as a visual designer in a digital environment;Bachelor’s degree in design or equivalent professional experience;An online portfolio or samples of work demonstrating your visual design capabilities;Proficiency in industry standard visual design tools such as Sketch and Adobe;Expert knowledge of image production for scalability across different mediums;Stays connected to visual design and technology trends;Expert visual design knowledge of color theory, typography, layout, photography usage, etc;Strong organizational skills and acute attention to detail;Ability to present and defend visual design solutions to stakeholders and management;Complete ownership of assigned projects and stakeholder management;Process-oriented independent thinker who proactively identifies areas for improvement;Ability to manage multiple concurrent requests, communicate and negotiate trade-offs in a self-managed manner;English speaker with good written, verbal, and presentation abilities;Team player with a positive attitude and sense of humor.Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of brand design and management, advertising and marketing;Experience designing for print;Illustration abilities with experience designing infographics and data visualisations;Experienced in producing motion graphics or animation;Awareness of UX design principles and techniques, including research, persuasive design, user interface design, etc;HTML and CSS knowledge.APPLY FOR JOB
