Multinational IT company is looking for a System Administrator for their office in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. You will provide management and supervision of the Company IT infrastructure, including data center (servers and storage), systems administration, email and messaging, voice/data network and the host/server infrastructure environment in addition to other duties as assigned; Manage critical technical services. This is a high impact role which will affect many parts of our business.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the day-to-day care of all server systems, data networks and telecommunication systems, including advanced tuning and performance of systems and network; capacity planning, systems and network configuration, network design, implementation, maintenance, and all related cyber security concerns Participate in ongoing development and design, across multiple browsers, platforms, mobile devices of new information systems and infrastructure Manage all data as a secure asset, responsible for systems and network security, disaster recovery and business continuity Assess and analyze company web applications and web traffic to help identify threats and potential vulnerabilities Create and implement custom web application firewall rules and/or implement router and network configurations to successfully integrate or update company solutions Provide DDoS and threat mitigation plan Accurately scope implementation timelines for Change Requests. Identify technical risks and provide mitigation strategies Build successful working and IT support relationships across the organization including external customers, partners and vendors Will work on tight deadlines, handle multiple competing priorities and projects Acerca de la posición
Experience 6+ years´ experience in network security operations and network administration 3+ years´ experience in network architecture, design and deployment Experience with Internet technologies/protocols including TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS and web servers Experience creating and delivering advanced network and security solutions (route/switch, IDS/IPS, Firewall/VPN, Security Event Management, Data Loss Prevention, Web Application Protection) for strategic business initiatives Experience configuring Cisco and/or Juniper Routers Experience writing/decoding exploits, vulnerability and attack detection signatures Experience with one of the Linux/Unix and web-related languages: Perl, PHP, Shell, Python, J2EE, C++ Experience with TCP/IP network debugging with tcpdump/Wireshark or similar Experience with data processing, Real Time Reporting and Analytics Knowledge of the full software development lifecycle Independent and able to understand complex systems Flexible for travel based on project needs Proficient in English language
