Senior Ruby on Rails Developer

Role responsibilities

- Develop, improve and evolve our SaaS products.- Develop new features and products. The sky's the limit.- Promote and ensure best software development practices within the team.- Take part in team coaching, training and leading team for particular features or tasks.

Who are we looking for

- You have 4+ years experience in developing web products in production, specially SaaS.- You are full-stack, or you are a seasoned backender with desire to become full-stack.- You enjoy finding simple solutions to complex problems.- You show passion for clean, elegant, great code. Solid SOLID design patterns.- You have wide experience with the Ruby on Rails stack hosted in the clouds: Ruby on Rails, rspec, sphinx, SQL, JS, HTML/CSS, AWS ... you name it.- You understand why best practices are important. You feel comfortable in agile environments: CI, code reviews, pair programming, git workflows, etc.- You have strong product management, problem-solving and planning skills.- Bonus track: You’ve got experience leading / coaching agile development teams.- We are becoming a data driven organization. Any experience you bring to the table will be appreciated.- Any experience in ML, data science and recommendation systems will be valued.- You hold a degree and/or Masters in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field. Not mandatory provided you have the experience. Spanish and English.- You have an open minded, collaborative, positive attitude.
