Professional qualificationsYou responsibility will be tasks related to development of our mobile applications and server systems focusing on real time processing and manipulation of position data with the purpose of identification and visualization of the deciding moments in sporting competitions.We expect you to have strong professional skills in computer science and mathematics, well-developed collaborative skills and ability to take the user’s perspective.Your professional qualifications cover:- Development of mobile apps, especially iOS (Swift)- Web development- Linux administration- Open source database systemsKnowledge of the following will also be an advantage: - Java- Ruby on Rails- Internet technologies like WebSockets, TCP and UDP- Unit testingWe expect you to hold a masters degree in computer science with a strong academic record and that you have 2-10 years of working experience.Domination of written and spoken English is a requirement.

We have provided live tracking of leading sporting events in more than 15 different sports on 6 different continents. We have ambitions to continue developing and positioning TracTrac as the world’s leading provider of live tracking of sports.The foundation for the success of TracTrac is a unique and advanced live tracking technology that permits advanced real time analysis of gps tracking data and visualization of these to thousands of concurrent users on web, mobile platforms and as input to TV. TracTrac was founded in Denmark and the organization currently consists of 2 persons in the head quarters in Copenhagen and a 5-person office in Alicante. As part of our Alicante office we are looking to strengthen our iOS Swift and system development capability and are thus seeking a skilled IT professional that wants to share the vision of lifting TracTrac to the stars.The jobThe main focus will initially be the development of a new app in iOS Swift and you will be keen on taking on the task in collaboration with our Lead Developer in Alicante. As TracTrac is a small start-up environment and since our system involves a number of different technologies and applications, we expect you to welcome the diversity of a number of different technologies and tasks in addition.TracTrac provides live tracking of sporting events on a global scale, and work in weekends and at odd hours can occur as well as increased workload leading up to specific events. For your daily work you will be based in Alicante, but opportunities to travel to events in different parts of the world will be ample.
