Senior Backend Developer

The position

We are looking for a backend senior developer. It’s required experience in managing large data repositories and complex architectural systems. He will manage a project with a high R&D needs and an actual team in place.

Mandatory requirements

• +5 Years of experience in software development
• Back-end: significant experience with Ruby on Rails and knowledge of what its strengths and weaknesses are
• Databases: solid understanding of SQL and have good working knowledge of PostgreSQL and more unconventional databases (Redis, MongoDB)
• Infrastructure: Experience with virtualization and cloud deployment using AWS (Cloudformation, RDS, EC2, S3, Lambda, ...)
• General: experience using Git and the command line. Knowledge in Client-server, MVC, REST and micro-service architectures
• DevOps: solid knowledge on Linux environments and the command line
• Infrastructure: Container oriented architectures (Docker), container orchestration (Rancher, Kubernetes)

Interesting knowledge (any these would be a plus)

• CI (Travis or Jenkins)
• Api gateway experience (Kong)
• Knowledge on scripting languages as Javascript and Node.js framework
• Experience with search engines such as Elasticsearch

Salary

• A salary between 45.000 - 48.000 Euros per year
• 1000 euros per year to spend in your personal education
