About the compan

Gudog is a p2p marketplace for dog owners and dog sitters (like Airbnb for dogs) operating in Spain, France, UK and Germany. Our mission is to become the reference brand for pet welfare in Europe.

About the role

We’re looking for a software developer with previous experience on mobile development with React Native. You’ll be joining a small multinational team based in downtown Madrid.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of our new mobile app built with React Native.

• Help with front-end tasks for our website.

Requirements

We’re looking for someone with previous experience of

• Expert knowledge of JavaScript / ES6 / ES.Next

• React Native or at least complex web SPAs built with React

• Redux or other state management library (Flux, MobX)

• Testing React apps (Jest / AVA / etc.)

• Fluent in English

It would be amazing, but not required, if you also had previous experience working on a start-up environment and knowledge of some of the following technologies:

• Native mobile development (Java / Kotlin / Objective C / Swift)

• Ruby on Rails (that’s our back-end)

• HAML / SCSS

• PostgreSQL

• Docker / Kubernetes

• Elixir / Phoenix

• Node.js

• UI/UX for mobile (Sketch / Illustrator, etc)

• Agile methodologies (Scrum / Kanban

Final bonus point if you are a dog owner or love dogs as much as we do.
