Our Barcelona studio is looking for a proactive, versatile Python Software Engineer. with a knack for data processing and visualization to take an active role in procuring different kinds of scripts and applications to cater a wide variety of requirements from different stakeholders in the Studio.

Daily responsibilities

-Implement and maintain scripts and applications to support game development, QA, community management and data science teams.-Take direct part in coordinating the formulation of the game trackers, to meet the stakeholders’ requirements.

Profile

Required Skills

-Python programming experience.-Familiarity with Unix administration and shell scripting.-Hands-on experience with Pandas.-Excellent communication and organizational skills. Fluency in English.-University Degree in relevant subject or equivalent experience.

Desired Skills

-Practical knowledge on other programming languages (JAVA, Javascript, C, …).-Experience working in data transformation and processing.-Experience working with databases.-Experience developing visualization and reporting solutions.-Web development experience (with Python and Javascript).-Familiarity with Data Science and/or Statistics a plus.-An interest and familiarity with gaming very appreciated.
