Lead Developer/CTO

Printsome is a custom apparel printing startup based in Barcelona. We are looking for a bold, driven, passionate and motivated entrepreneurial individual. We have invested a lot of time and resources to create a fast-growing, sustainable and scalable business with a modern management and organizational culture.

We are currently in a very exciting accelerated growth phase and are looking for someone with the right hard & soft skills for a Lead Developer/CTO position. Someone who enjoys creating and is proficient in building awesome products in 360º, and in collaboration with the team, on the frontend as well as the backend part of the projects. You will be responsible for writing clean, efficient code to create and update the functionality of our On Demand platform; executing projects from start to finish; utilizing best practices in the code; providing support to resolve issues.

YOU’RE IMPORTANT!We want this individual to be an important part of our core team and lead the IT department at our startup (200% hands on since day 1, with the potential to be a young CTO right away).

You will:Lead the development of our SaaS product, as well as manage the IT of our company;Work in close collaboration with the Product Owner & Front End/UX;Help us built a strong IT department and state-of-the-art products;Be a part of an open & transparent company culture;Benefit from all startup perks such as a relaxed atmosphere, nice team events, gym/restaurant/etc discounts;

Skill set: ReactAngular 2+REST NodejsHerokuSQL, noSQL databases git, github html5, css3, javascript, etc.Previous eCommerce dev experience (Shopify, Magento, Volusion, etc.) is a plus; Experience with continuous integration; Experience with agile development practices;

The ideal profile is someone:At least 2-3 years of experience in a similar role; Excited about startups;BS or MS in Computer Science or related degree; Native or fluent English speaker. Spanish a plus; Pro-active, dynamic and attentive; Team player with a positive attitude;Someone with a long-term vision;
