Position Summary The Lead Copywriter is responsible for the verbal and textual content of these deliverables such as: • Translating creative ideas/ content into simple and easy-to-understand messaging through stellar storytelling • Working to a brief agreed with the client teams and in compliance with BCG standards • Edit content for grammar, accuracy, clarity, readability, consistency, and coherence.
Job Resonsibilities • Develop content and meet the copy requirements of the team: to write clear, persuasive, original copy • Responsible for generating stand-alone copy or text to complement visual concepts or original content, across communication platforms/products, like:- Websites, mobile apps, emails, social media, blogs - Articles & newsletters, Brochures, emailers, campaigns, Scripts for videos and case studies • Responsible writing, proofreading and editing content for all communication material • Partner with other team members to develop ideas that are on-brief and on-strategy • Work with design team to develop high impact marketing assets and campaigns • Submits ideas and discusses progress with the Head of the Design Studio and Project Leads before making presentations to clients • Interacts with, presents to, and explains creative concepts both internally and to clients as required at all levels • Oversees campaign from concept through production to completion • At times, attends shoots to provide creative supervision and quality controls for third parties in the production process such as directors, photographers, illustrators and artists
Job requirements • Minimum of 8 years’ experience in a copywriter role • Desired experience at an international Ad agency • Solid understanding of Agency and creative process • Superior organizational and time management skills with a strong attention to detail • Great communication skills in order to maintain good relationships with clients and colleague • Continually drive for results and highest quality standards • Knowledge of the business or the consulting environment would be a plus • Bachelors/Masters degree
Key competencies • Submit a portfolio of creative work for review • Well-developed communication skills, including the ability to articulate creative concepts and rationale for client and team • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously excellent oral and written communication skills, organization and time management capabilities • Ability to think creatively and translate ideas into copy • Experience with content management systems and strong understanding of content work flows • Ability to develop new topics, research, and find a unique spin on existing topics and current trends • Aspiration for high quality, innovation and outstanding results • Ability to work independently and deliver high quality work within short time-lines. • Flexible and adaptable to changes • Good knowledge of MS Office Suite • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
