Kids Content Writer

We’re reinventing early childhood education through an online language learning platform for kids. We adopt the Netflix model to help children learn the English language via a content platform and online live classes with more than 4 millions users. We believe in breaking down language barriers and helping provide equal opportunities to all kids around the world.

We are looking for a Kids Content Writer to write educational and fun songs, games and TV episodes, skilled at building worlds for kids, creating exciting story hooks, and bringing memorable characters to life in concise, clear, characterful dialogue.

This is a remote position.

About the Role

* Write lyrics for kids songs based on didactic objectives. * Write Lingokid’s interactive episodes that could be transformed into non-interactive episodes. * Develop new and interesting plots, characters, or ideas to come up with new stories for kids.* Work closely with the Head of Content and the Educational Team. * Integrate narrative elements to promote education in values.

About You

* Experience as a professional writer of children's and educational content. * Native English skill required. * Experience developing fiction in games, TV or print. * Strong writing ability and proven copywriting experience that takes projects to the next level.* Strong writing, scripting, editing skills and ability to work with tight deadlines. * BA in Creative Writing, Journalism, Screenwriting/Film or similar fields of study, or equivalent professional experience. * Experience and interest in kids products & game design.
