Junior Front End Developer

We are looking for a Junior developer to join Parabebes.com. You will be working with a small team to develop and maintain responsive web applications.

If you’re interested on improving responsive platforms in a high traffic user-friendly web, we would like to meet you. As a mainly FrontEnd Developer, you’ll collaborate with internal teams to develop new functionalities.

Together, we will change into a smarter and seamless responsive experience to help moms in their daily life.

Part of your mission will be maintenance and improvement of parabebes.com and, in a second phase, integration and new development of mom2mom.cat.

Take full ownership of the features, working with other non technical teams where necessary to implement new functionality and stunning user responsive experience.Be involved in FrontEnd developments of new platform of mom2mom (second phase). Maintenance and improvement FrontEnd lay out using PHP and JSMake faster database performance using MySQL

REQUIREMENTSBs degree in Computer Science, or related technical field.3 years of experience developing HTML, PHP websites.UI technical and software design background.Experience with secure payment systems integrations.Demonstrable Web standards knowledge (HTML, CSS, JS, Bootstrap, DOM). Knowledge of programming patterns object oriented.Knowledge in database SQL (MySQL) y NoSQL (MongoDB, OrientDB...Notions/be used to SCRUM or other agile methods for software development.Spanish and English use on daily basis (French is a plus).Knowledge or interest in web design is a plus.

Soft skills: organized, team working, problem solving, curiosity and initiative.

DESIREDAbility to write clean, testable code.Knowledge of HTML5, CCS3, Node.js, testing frameworks. A big plus, experience with webs/apps with high traffic.Experience with third-party libraries and APIs is a plus.Experience with “backend as a service” REST APIs.
