We are looking for a talented and creative individual for a junior designer position. This position would be suited to somebody who has recently left university or a junior designer with a few years experience.

B9lab is a company that delivers education, advisory and research on blockchains and decentralised applications. We are a small team of passionate experts, delivering technical content in a very niche but growing field with customers from over 70 countries and offices in Barcelona and Hamburg.

Your Responsibilities

You will be a key new member of an expanding company and will be required to assist in the creation of creative assets as well as other design tasks. This will likely include brand identity and message, training course material, marketing material, reports and presentations. Expect to work on illustrations, videos, animations, websites and applications. We are a small team and so this role is best suited to generalists who enjoy working on a wide range of creative disciplines or individuals that are willing to learn and grow their skill set quickly.

Your Requirements

A degree in Graphic Design or similar relevant creative courseA strong portfolio showcasing your design skillsExperience with the Adobe Creative Suite, most importantly: Illustrator and PhotoshopGood spoken and written EnglishAvailable to work full-time in Barcelona

Bonus points if you have experience in any of the following:

UI Design (Photoshop or Sketch) Front End Development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript etc)Video Editing (Premiere Pro or Final Cut)Animation/Motion Graphics (After Effects)Online marketing and growth hackingUnderstanding or interest in blockchains/decentralised applications
