Full-stack Javascript Developer

We're looking for a full-stack Javascript Developer that feels comfortable developing both in the frontend with Angular and Ionic 2, and in the backend with Node and Express.

We like being at the top of our game and using the latest and greatest JS technologies for modern browsers, like Progressive Web Apps. You won't find legacy code or ancient APIs. Just fresh shiny code.

As one of our first hires, you will work with our CTO and assist defining team methologies and best practices. Our goal is to start gorwing an agile team using kanban, 2-week long sprints and monthly milestones. You will initially work from our coworking space in Madrid, with the ability of partially working remotely.

We are a good fit if you:

- Minimum of 1 year working experience in modern Javascript (ES6) in both front and back, APIs and microservices. If you feel more comfortable using jQuery, this job isn't for you.

- Speak English fluently, as it's our official working language. Plus we expect you to be able to read and write good documentation.

- Think that teamwork is the only way to work. We don't like solitary wolves, even if they are rockstars.

- Feel comfortable with change, love learning every day and trying new things.

- Are proactive and always speak their mind, but respect and appreciate other people's opinion. Contribute to finding solutions and reaching consensus.

- Don't like getting too comfy doing the same things every day.

You will be responsible of:

- Coding new features and maintaining the existing ones. You are responsible for the code and tests you write, and making them scalable.

- Raising a flag whenever you see current or potential problems: bottlenecks, inefficiencies, need to refactor, slow code, bad practices, etc. Or just better ways to do things.

- Participating in cross code reviews and helping other developers with the things you do best. Asking for help for the things you do worse, and learning from others.

- Mentoring interns and being available for them to ask questions. Giving them constructive feedback so they can learn and improve.
