Full Stack Developer PHP

This position will help lead technology expansion on how Kigo connects with its partners such as AirBnB, HomeAway, Booking.com and many others. Our technology continues to push the envelope on how our technology helps advertising strategies for short-term rental (vacation and urban) management companies.

Responsibilities will include full lifecycle application management and development, with an emphasis on data connectivity, processing performance and logging. As a result, this developer must have solid foundational experience with the LAMP framework, coding, web services, Linux applications and services. This position requires excellent communication and organizational skills as well as an affable personality and optimistic team outlook to be successful.

We move fast at Kigo with the ability to perform daily releases and get near real-time feedback from our clients. We run as lean and fast as possible and work hard to avoid unnecessary complexity or unproductive processes. What you will be doing:

Provide day to day contribution in product evolution design, implementation, and maintenanceDirect software coding, software analysis, code analysis, requirements analysis, software reviewWork with new technologies for implementation (we are currently utilizing Hangfire, Azure and other modern services and processes)Performance tuning, improvement, usability and process automationSupport, maintenance and documenting software functionalityIntegrate software with existing systems and other products in the suite (APIs, WebHooks and other)Acquire domain expertise for given industry application through team interaction

What we think it takes to get the job:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science a plusMinimum of 2 years’ experience in commercial PHP application developmentMinimum of 2 years mySQL requiredMinimum of 1 year of API or relatedStrong analysis, problem solving and troubleshooting skillsHigh level of eagerness, aptitude and humility
