Full Stack Developer .NET

This position will help lead technology development for a new product to compliment the Kigo SaaS product suite, with the key focus being innovation and evolution of the product from idea to reality. The work environment is extremely “failure tolerant,” encouraging new ideas and methods to be brought forward and tried as part of the creative process.

We are creating new service offerings in the short-term rental (vacation and urban) industry where there are evolving definitions for safety, security, payments and online reservations. Unlike hotels or long-term rental industries, this industry is still defining how to automate and streamline how business is done.

Responsibilities will include full lifecycle application management and development; however, the heaviest emphasis will be on product innovation. As a result, this developer must have solid foundational experience with the .NET framework, coding, web services, windows applications and services. This position requires excellent communication and organizational skills as well as an affable personality and optimistic team outlook to be successful.

We move fast at Kigo with the ability to perform daily releases and get near real-time feedback from our clients. We run as lean and fast as possible and work hard to eliminate the red tape. What you will be doing:

Provide day to day contribution in product evolution design, implementation, and maintenanceDirect software coding, software analysis, code analysis, requirements analysis, software reviewWork with new technologies for implementation (we are currently utilizing .NET Core, Azure, IdentityServer, Hangfire, Redis and other modern services and processes)Performance tuning, improvement, usability and process automationGuide the support, maintenance and documenting software functionalityIntegrate software with existing systems and other products in the suiteAcquire domain expertise for given industry application through team interaction

What we think it takes to get the job:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science a plusMinimum of 2 years’ experience in commercial .NET web application developmentMinimum of 2 years hands on development utilizing ASP.NET MVC/Webforms, C#Minimum of 2 years MS SQL Server 2012+ requiredMinimum of 1 year Web API / Web Service / WCF experienceStrong analysis, problem solving and troubleshooting skillsHigh level of eagerness, aptitude and humilityShort term rental or vacation rental industry background a plus
