Front End Developer

Glamping Hub is the world’s leading curated online booking platform dedicated to unique accommodations in nature. The team is made up of a dynamic and enthusiastic group of professionals from different backgrounds and nationalities, all of whom are working hard to bring success to this innovative start-up. Glamping Hub is seeking a Front End Developer to design effective user interfaces on our company website. The candidate must be proficient in HTML, Javascript and jQuery, and ideally would have some knowledge of Ember.js, Bootstrap and other relevant tools. A successful candidate will work closely with our web development and software design teams to update and increase the efficiency of the website and internal web tools. The Front End Developer will also be responsible for implementing solutions to web design issues to enhance usability and visually appeal. This opportunity is located in our Sevilla office. Remote work is not an option. Responsibilities - Implement responsive web design principles to ensure that our company website renders well across multiple devices.- Review app and feature coding; plan future website upgrades with the development team.- Assist in the development of applications and features that will be put on the website as well as internal functions.- Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server side logic.- Provide training and support to internal teams.- Liaise with onboarding team, developers, designers and system administrators to identify new features.- Follow emerging technologies.

Desired Skills/ Qualifications - Understanding of the entire web development process (design, development and deployment).- Proficiency in Linux and Git.- HTML, and basic CSS.- Advanced Javascript.- jQuery and Bootstrap are essential.- Working knowledge of REST APIs.- Teamwork skills with a problem-solving attitude.- English writing and speaking abilities.- Extra awesome- Ember.js web framework.- Underscore.js, Moment.js and SASS.- Familiarity with Python, our back-end programing language.- Some knowledge of Django to collaborate with Back-end developers.- Desirable work experience on booking platforms.
