We are Be Mate, a dynamic travel startup based in Spain and operating worldwide. We provide charming apartaments in great neighborhoods of main touristic destinations, with hotel-level care and on-demand services. Open position

We are looking for an outstanding Front End Developer to be responsaible for the coding, innnovative design and layout of website. You will build our website from concept all the way to completion from the bottom up, fashioning everything from the home page to site layout and function.

Main responsabilities

• Write wll designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development pratices.
• Create website layout/user interface by using standard HTML/CSS practices.
• Integrate data from varios back-end services and databases.
• Gather and refine spectications and requirements based on technical needs.
• Create and maintain software documentation.
• Be responsible for maintaining, expanding, and scaling our site.
• Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply then into oparations and activities.
• Cooperate with web designers to match visual desing intent.
• Cooperate with backend team for new features integration and/or bug fix.

Expertise and Skills

• Proven working expeirience in web programming
• Familiarity with PHP
• Top-notch programming skills and in-depth Knowledge of avascript, jQuery, LESS/SASS
• Familiariarty with bootstrap and other frontend framework (like React, AgularJS, Node.js)
• Familiariaty with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kamban) / Jira
• Excellent team working skills.
• A solid understanding of how web applicaions work including security (especially client side such as XSS) session management, and best devolopment practices.
• Adequate knowloge of relational database systems, Object Oriented Programing and web application development.
• Ability to work and thive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly and master diverse web technologies and technniques.
• Proactive and used to work respecting deadlines.
• BS in computer science or related field.
