KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Print Materials Design and Creative * Act as Brand ‘protector’, designing all creative produced for the Village Market
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Print Materials Design and Creative
* Act as Brand ‘protector’, designing all creative produced for the Village Marketing team prior to submitting material to the Central Creative team for approval.
* Take central design templates for each season and apply to the Village regular print run materials (Village Directory, Database card, Village News, Shop & Explore etc).
* Design and produce artwork for all external communications (press and outdoor advertising, direct mailings, leaflet and mini-leaflet updates, website, special offers, folders…).
* Be guardian for Hospitality design package to support the hospitality initiatives in the Village (largely hosted by the TIC) – all hospitality service material needs to be branded/reviewed and made consistent in design.
* Prepare Brand Presentations as required
Administration
* Manage the design work flow process to manage design jobs efficiently through the department, working closely with the Creative Department Traffic Manager.
* Report to Marketing Director and Creative Director to ensure clear communications on deadlines and priorities.
* Keep close communication with Village Graphic Designers to be a support to each other and share ideas on creative.
* Ensure network filing system to ensure all creative is stored for future reference
* Ensure all work is delivered to agreed deadlines/budget/quality.
* Work closely with Marketing Co-ordinator/Manager to maintain Archive for the Village materials.
Events
* Design for key events/promotional campaigns (non-templated work) that tie in with the Group Marketing Services Calendar where unique for the Village.
* Produce showcase book after events.
* Be guardian for VIP Lounge interior design and design package to support the VIP Programme in the Village – all VIP/Events material needs to be branded/reviewed and made consistent.
BACKGROUND & SKILLS NEEDED:
* Demonstrable experience of creating targeted and sophisticated campaign designs
* At least 4 years’ experience in a busy design studio environment working to tight deadlines
* Excellent people, communication, organisation and time-management skills
* Advanced knowledge and experience of Adobe CS5 InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop software
* Advanced knowledge of art working and setting up design for print
