VICE includes an international network of digital channels, a television and feature film production studio, a magazine, a record label, an in-house creative services agency, a book-publishing division and a new 24-hour TV channel, VICELAND.

The Digital Campaign Manager is a dedicated media professional who is part of the VICE Digital team. This person helps VICE to further build and strengthen our overall digital network operations. The Campaign Manager is responsible for managing media sales that extends our own properties working across VICE channels and our network of premium publishing partners. The Campaign Manager is dedicated to develop great relationships with our publishing partners and agency clients, effectively working alongside the ad operations, media planning and sales team to deliver the best possible results for our clients and publishing partners.

Role and responsibilities:

-Manage regionally sold digital media campaigns for both display media and content partnerships. -Campaigns will run on VICE’s channels and/or on partner sites.-Check inventory for display media campaigns and book accordingly in operating system and work together with Ad Operations team to request extended display media forecasts.-Manage content partnership with VICE’s channels and publisher sites and be capable to review content for advertorials including copy for social platforms.-Set-up campaigns from campaign management system with the utmost accuracy and efficiency, showcasing all elements from the mediaplan presented by Mediaplanning team.-Make site recommendations for VICE Digital RFPs, including both display, content and social campaigns, which will be added in the campaign management system.-Work closely together with Ad Operations team, International VICE offices and publisher partners direct to ensure that the campaign will go live on time and all relevant stakeholder are informed.-Take full responsibility for the campaign and optimize campaigns in order to hit KPI’s as set-up by Media -Planning team and deliver in full. Optimising will take place working alongside the Ad Operations team.-Troubleshoot any sort of questions and issues related to publishing partner sites on a global and local level in respect of VICE campaigns and digital interests-Create interim and end reports that have true value for the client. Be able to analyse data and transform data to a rationale for our Sales Team and clients.-Closing and locking campaigns at the end of the month with a great eye for detail.-Manage social media activation for content campaign across different platforms: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat and YouTube.-keep all stakeholder up to date of campaign status and changes at all times.-Deliver an exemplary level of service and support for regional teams and commercial VICE teams.-Manage the scheduling & distribution of materials for display, social and content campaigns on O&O and network of partner sites.

Develop and maintain EMEA Digital Hub processes and best practicesCreate separate tasks for Ad Operations to assign to different team membersCommunicate any challenges with senior staffRequirements1-2 years experience in marketing / social media activation field and having knowledge about paid social activation on the following social platforms: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter.Degree in Marketing/Advertising or Communication.You have a passion for digital media a strong desire to work in this industry.Experience in media industry marketing and a proven track record of successExperience of working with an ad server and in ad operations environment would be an advantage but not essential.Fluent in English is a must, having knowledge of the Spanish too.Preferred software knowledge: DoubleClick For Publishers (DFP), YouTube TrueView, Operative.One and Facebook AdvertiserExcellent communication skills with the ability to build strong internal and external relationshipsA strong analytical mind-set and proven numeracy skillsThe flexibility to work with a varied workload, often under pressure and tight deadlines.Shows interest and progression in paid activation on a variety of social platforms
