Design Intern - Prácticas

RocketShops is looking for an highly motivated Design Intern to work from our office in Barcelona starting in September or Oktober 2017! Are you an ambitious Designer, a self-starter and do you want to work for an T-Shirt E-commerce startup in the vibrant city of Barcelona? Then read further.

About us:Rocket Shops is an e-commerce start up that owns several fashion web shops. We design our own clothing (mainly T-shirts and hoodies). Through our innovative and tested methods, we can set up a fully equipped and highly converting self-owned web shop within 24 hours. By this, we can quickly act on trends and new e-commerce possibilities and be a forerunner in the Ecommerce market.

Your tasks:You will be making designs for T-shirts, hoodies and also help designing banners, newsletter templates and assist in the design of new web shops.Your working day at RocketShopsYou enter the office at 10.00h in your shorts and flip flops (at Rocket Shops we have no formal dress code :-) ) The first thing you do is opening up your Asana (project management tool) and inbox to see which tasks you want to give the highest priority and which emails need to be answered first. Then we have our 15min stand up meeting where everybody tells their progress and what they will be working on that day.At 10.45 You have a brainstorm with the team about which the latest trends in fashion and shirt designs are.At 11.30h you start with designing T-shirts and hoodies for a new webshop. You discuss the designs with the rest of the team.At 14.00h you edit some designs you made earlier based on the feedack from the clients of the webshop.From 14h to 15h you have a typical, delicious and cheap Menu del Dia in one of the many good restaurants that surround the office.At 15.00h you have a meeting about setting up a new marketing campaign and make a proposal for the design of the banners.At 17h you make stunning designs for smartphone cases, towels and caps.At 19h you leave the office and head to the beach with other people from RocketShops and the office to play some beach volleyball, drink some beers and eat some tapas.

Location:We work from our office in Gracia, the best neighborhood of Barcelona that is located in the center of Barcelona and houses two other international Startups.

Do apply when:-You have hands on experience in (web) design-You have extensive experience in using Photoshop and/or Illustrator-You have an excellent level of written English as well as verbally-You are detail oriented with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment-You want to work for an ambitious start up and live in one of the best cities in the world with more than 300 sunny days a year, beautiful beaches, delicious food and a vibrant nightlife-You are available for a minimum of 3 months

Payment:You will receive a payment of 400 per month
