We are looking for a communications intern to support internal communications for our Europe Region. This role will work closely with the regional communications officer on channel management and content development, with an emphasis on supporting the production of the monthly internal newsletter.

Responsibilities:- Writing, editing, and English proofreading to ensure content quality- Ensure copy in compliance with Arup house style- Interview staff in different European countries- Use Poppulo (formerly Newsweaver) for publishing- Maintaining internal websites and other administrative work- Ad-hoc tasks to support other internal communication activities

Skills and capabilities:- Academic background/ studying at the moment journalism, communications or related disciplines- Previous experience in newspaper or news agency will be a strong advantage, but not necessary- Strong English writing and storytelling skills- Language requirement: Native or bilingual level English. Spanish is not required.- Availability to work part-time, minimum 25 hours/week. - Detailed-oriented, able to meet tight deadlines, highly motivated- Immediate availability is preferred
