Back End developer

Glamping Hub is the world’s leading curated online booking platform dedicated to unique accommodations in nature. We are looking for an experienced Back-end developer to join our IT team. You will be responsible for ensuring the accurate sync of platforms and create new methods using cutting edge technologies. If you have excellent programming skills and a passion for developing applications or improving existing ones, we would like to meet you. As a Back-end developer, you’ll work closely with our engineers to ensure system consistency and improve user experience. Ultimately, you should be able to develop and maintain functional and stable web applications to meet our company’s needs. This opportunity is located in our Sevilla office. Remote work is not an option. Responsibilities - Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging to improve calendar sync and platform updates.- Write clean code to develop functional web applications.- Troubleshoot and debug applications- Perform tests to optimize performance and improve existing API´s.- Manage cutting-edge technologies to update calendar sync according to different geographical areas and Property Management Companies.- Collaborate with Front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server side logic.- Provide training and support to internal teams- Liaise with onboarding team, developers, designers and system administrators to identify new features.- Follow emerging technologies to sync better and faster You are excellent at: - Understanding of the entire web development process (design, development and deployment).- Linux and Git proficiency.- The Python programming language.- Django web framework.- Working knowledge of APIs, like REST, SOAP, etc.- Teamwork skills with a problem-solving attitude.- Writing and speaking in English. Extra awesome: - Familiarity with front-end languages (e.g. HTML, JavaScript and CSS).- Working knowledge of Celery or other tools for running background tasks.- Experience working with ElasticSearch.- Experience working with PostgreSQL, or a similar relational database, including direct SQL access.- Desirable work experience on booking platforms.
