Art Director

We are looking for a professional with a versatile profile that can help us with different tasks related to Art Direction

Onionlab is a studio / production company based in Barcelona that creates audiovisual and interactive content for the creative industries, companies related to music, fashion and art, and cultural events such as exhibitions. These are some of our most outstanding works:— Stereoscopic projection mapping for Barcelona’s town council / Llum BCN on Plaça del Rei in Barcelona in 2016. — Audiovisual content for the Spanish Pavilion at World Expo Yeosu 2012, Korea. — Audiovisual content for the Spanish Pavilion at Expo Milano 2015. — Immersive piece for Ricardo Bofill Taller de Arquitectura exhibited at the Venice Biennale in 2013. — Mapping for La Fura dels Baus on the occasion of the opening ceremonies and closing of the 2012 European Capital of Culture in Guimarães. And many more projection mappings and audiovisual shows for Mapping Festival, Signal Festival, Romap, Glow Festival, A-cero Architects and Santa Eulalia. The candidate will have to carry out the following tasks:— Prepare art direction proposals based on animations and still images.— Develop the general visual style of the project— Make sure our final material goes along with the approved artistic approach and style— Coordinate artistic duties — Art Design supervision

The candidate should also have the following skills and experience:— Previous experience as Art Director— His/her visual aesthetics should be compatible with Onionlab’s aesthetics— Proactive and self-motivated — Passion for creative challenges — Attention to detail —Deadline conqueror— Software: Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Video edit ability, 3D notions

Minimum requirements: three years of experience in a similar field and position at production companies, studios and/or advertising agencies.

Remuneration will be based on experience.
