Accounting Clerk

This position is accountable for performing a variety of advanced clerical/accounting functions in accordance with standard procedures in general accounting, fixed assets, bank reconciliations and another related financial area.

Essential Job Functions:

• Analyzes accounting documents and sales agreements for accuracy and completeness.• Uses automated systems to input data, reconcile accounts and respond to inquiries.• Verifies and compiles data and prepares moderately complex financial reports and analysis.• Performs analysis of specified accounts and unbilled transactions. Maintains documented follow-up of assigned accounts to ensure appropriate resolution. May collect delinquent accounts receivable.• Prepares financial statements, posts to journals, ledgers and other accounting records.• Provides information on credit, rebates and claims resolution.• Carries out month closing duties, job cost and financial forecasts for the business.• Determines tax withholdings and deductions, shift premiums, overtime, hours worked, etc.• Prepares and generates outstanding account reports and billing. Performs data entry to applicable databases and/or spreadsheets.• May lead special projects or team functions.• Assists in the maintenance of customer accounts.

Requirements:

• High English level, both written and spoken.• Fluency in other foreign languages is a plus.• Education in the Accounting field.• Valuable previous experience in an international working environment.• Advanced knowledge of Excel.• Versatile individual, with remarkable problem-solving skills and adaptation capacity.
