JOB PURPOSE & VISION – CLIENT SERVICES MANAGER

As a TLC Client Service Manager (CS) you will be responsible for the management of key client projects working alongside the rest of the Client Service team to deliver excellent management of campaigns.

You will be a skilled project manager and within this role you will learn to develop your ability to be a strategic thinker.

You will be main point of contact on your projects.

Your leadership skills and ability to multi task within and across clients will begin to develop in this role. As a member of the team you will be involved in helping Spain Client Services team work efficiently, deliver excellence proactively look for ways to help improve overall client service delivery.

You will have an eye for detail – you will take responsibility for ensuring that all work you are delivering is free from errors and produced to the highest standard. You will help ensure the team around you also delivers this level of attention to detail.

You will learn to demonstrate you can add value to your client as you start to input into their strategic needs and we will encourage you to own and develop particular pieces of business.

You will look to build relationships with clients and across the world of TLC.

You will be financially savvy and in control in all matters relating to income generation and spend on your projects.

CORE DELIVERABLES

QUALITY OF SERVICE

• Maintain high standard within the agency• Understand client and internal briefs, dissect and clarify requirements• Ensure all work is signed off to a superior quality by following the approval process set. Do not let work pass your eyes that is of a poor quality• Have the ability to listen and consider• Have the ability to sell and persuade through written communication and deliver succinct and well thought through verbal communication• Ensure you are well prepared and rehearsed for presentations

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

• Take ownership of projects and ensure delivery against all targets set• Project manage the production and development of campaigns from brief to fulfillment and ensure they are delivered on time, to budget and in line with customer service agreements• You will be able to anticipate, plan and meet deadlines ensuring you are able to think ahead and diagnose issues• Produce timing schedules for internal and external parties and ensure they are followed or adjusted where necessary• Prioritize work load and efficiently plan your working day • Learn to multi task across projects and clients effectively to ensure no one client suffers a depleted level of attention• Manage and implement agreed projects: write terms & conditions, creative briefs, proposals, consumer journey’s and user experience documents when required. Manage production of printed and digital materials• Ensure that written approval is given by the client and all internal stakeholders before going to print or live with digital material• Continually liaise with all internal departments - sales, PDI, customer service, IT and creative• Manage all campaign and third party information from the design to print• Source, brief, manage external suppliers, including printers, handling houses, translations• Identify key learning’s from campaigns and apply to future campaigns, and share with colleagues • Ensure the correct forms and processes are adhered to

CLIENT SERVICE

• Develop and maintain excellent relationships with clients through regular contact, minimum of once a week, and build trust• Have face to face contact with the client wherever possible• Issue weekly status report with succinct and clear action points • Ensure you become an expert on your Clients brands demonstrating a good grasp of your clients industry and competitors• Seek to be aware of changing trends, cultural and economic• You should have the ability to provide a consultancy/ advisory role to your clients• Evaluate promotion effectiveness and review individual campaign performance against client objectives and attend any post-evaluation meetings with the client• Understand and liaise with other business units within TLC to provide the client with the appropriate mix of disciplines where required• Ensure clients are kept informed • Demonstrate the ability to listen to clients• Determine and work to the clients preferred methods of communication and attend all client meetings and direct formal presentations as appropriate• Act as an ambassador for clients services for TLC external clients and internal departments

DIGITAL

• Basic Digital knowledge: Google Analytics UX, website development and Social Media. • Keep in touch with the digital partner.

STRATEGIC PLANNING

• You will start to become more involved in strategic responses and learn to clearly identify a Clients key objective in each brief• You will learn to evaluate and clearly differentiate between different channels of communication• Learn to research, gain insight and interrogate information• Input into strategic recommendations and evaluations

SALES SUPPORT

• Identify and act to develop further business with existing and new clients; sell through excellent customer relationship skills• Work with the sales team to support bids and assist them with pitches including job costing• Keep sales team updated at key stages in the campaign delivery process

CREATIVE

• Write clear, focused and succinct creative briefs which will inspire the creative • Demonstrate ability to use the correct briefing form at the right time• Contribute to brainstorms • Learn to effectively critique creative• Learn to summarise and ‘sell’ creative ideas for a Client and internally

COMMERCIAL

• Ensure that payment arrangements and billing schedules are agreed before any work commences and that the arrangement is enforced, and assist with cash collection from the client• Estimate profit level on all projects and ensure each one is delivered with minimum back end cost• Demonstrate a good understanding of internal cost structures• Demonstrate a good knowledge of the internal finance system• Fully understand TLC’s terms of business• Optimise the profitability of campaigns and ensure promotions adhere to legal regulations• Take a commercial view when decision making in order to maximise the value to be gained from campaigns
