Sustonable is a disruptive, starting, international manufacturing company with offices in Spain (Valencia) and The Netherlands (Amsterdam) and a production facility in Turkey. At the moment the company has 15 employees, but the ambition is to grow rapidly and have a significant impact in the surface materials markets and on reducing exhaustion of natural resources and plastic waste.
Sustonable is a new technology to produce a circular composite stone surface material made from recycled PET from plastic bottles and quartz. Our materials can be used as kitchen countertops, table tops, bathroom wall panels.
The focus is on gaining market share and entering traditional markets with our ground-breaking new product. As a Marketing and Communication employee you work, together with the management, on the preparation and implementation of the marketing and communication for Sustonable.
Since the marketing department is new, a high degree of independence is expected from you in this position. This also assumes that you yourself come up with initiatives and areas for improvement.
You will be responsible for, among other things, the website and content, social media activities, PR, the newsletter, articles in professional journals, mailings, free publicity, participation in and preparation of events. You will also have to attend those events as representative of Sustonable when needed. You are also responsible for the follow up on new client inquiries, distribution of sample material new products.
In this way you bear direct responsibility for the visibility and image of the company and contacts with new potential customers.

____________________________________________________________________What are the job requirements
-At least a completed Bachelor's degree; -Several years of experience in Marketing & Communication; -Communication skills excellent in English, with a pre for native speaking; -Experience with CRM packages is an advantage; -Innovative, strong in Out of the Box thinking; -Specialist in social media (at least LinkedIn and Twitter); -Experience in PR; -Experience with a content management system of a website; -Experience with e-mail marketing and e-mail tools (such as Mailchimp or other tools); -Enterprising with the ambition to contribute to the growth of a start-up; -Being able to function independently and well in a small team; -Availability for travel to events; -Experience with customer and account management; -Preferably a background in online marketing, PR or as a hands-on online marketeer on the customer side; -Microsoft Office, Excel and Word experience.
