Journalist, transcriptionist, interview maker

Voices of Leaders is looking for a full-time inhouse journalist to join our office in Las Rozas,Madrid.Tasks include but not exhaustive to:  Applying creativity to help brand global clientele Editing copy Editing transcripts from interviews  Working to develop accurate feature articles for written publications in some of theworld’s most recognized media  Writing content for the Voices of Leaders platform and ebooks  Researching news and developments about different countries of current globalinterest  Writing detailed editorial focuses regarding countries in question  Liaising with team members placed around the world about current events and topicsof interest  Contacting key figures in countries and embassies: letter writing, editing and followup Maintaining contact with key figures in embassies and government

Essential skills and experience

The candidate will: Be a native English speaker Have a background in writing and editing  Have strong communication skills  Be passionate about global affairs  Be knowledgeable about developing economies  Have a natural ability to recognize a story with clear editorial focus Have experience in economic and business journalism  Have an eye for detail  Work to deadlines  Be self-motivated, results driven and hard working  Be a team player  Use their initiative Be adaptable and flexible  Handle multiple/complex tasks Desired skills and experience  Knowledge of comparative journalistic analysis (PLUS)  Online content management and SEO is desired Shooting and editing videos  Experience using social media platforms  PR skills  Ability to communicate Spanish

Minimum qualificationsBA degree, preferably in journalism or related field
