About
I’m Xavi Esteve, born in Barcelona and living in London since 2009, a passionate Front-end Web Developer and UI Designer.

One day I went to visit my dad’s office and I saw one of those strange 28K modems. After some noises, the computer allowed me to view information and images and listen to MIDI files from all around the world with a simple mouse click. That changed my life, I saw the powerfulness of the Internet and how it was going to change the world. So I started learning how to code websites side by side with my normal studies and how to make the Internet a bigger and better place by developing and contributing as much as I could. Since then, I’ve worked for a world Top 100 tech company, a Top 50 fastest growing startup or the biggest entertainment company in the UK.
About my work
I develop handmade cutting edge websites focusing on user experience, simplicity, speed, attention to detail and promotion. Highly competitive in the complete process of website and online format design and development, from planning and wireframing to release and production. I thrill working among other professionals that share my passion for beauty, creativity and success.
My clients receive usable, clean, scalable and reliable code and documentation. Websites load fast, comply with the latest SEO best practices and are powerful while keeping them easy to use and accessible. I prefer progressive enhancement, and believe in an open Internet, only spend time in IE6 when begged to and code always as simple and concise as possible.
About me
I love cooking, it is an entertaining hobby and very rewarding. I enjoy watching films and listen to any kinds of music like electronic, classic, reggae, folk or indie. I also love to play percussion instruments and try to produce my own indietronic music every now and then. Some time ago I used to skateboard. Now I love to go running every weekend and spend most of my savings travelling.
About my website
In my website you will find my resume, several ways to contact me and my blog (here is my portfolio). The topics in my blog are very random as it is a place were I post about things that I can’t find easily, personal tricks & tips on any subject or a collection of knowledge ordered in a nice way. Some posts are in Spanish for my fellow friends but most of them are in English as this is my main professional language and the audience is much broader.
